Christmas is Here!

Christmas time has finally arrived, and we have decorated our house! I have been waiting to decorate forrrrrevvvvvvvvverrrrrrrr. :) But, since Matt is a little biased toward Thanksgiving Day (I can't blame him, he was born on Thanksgiving, it's a pretty sweet day) we wait until after Thanksgiving to "officially" celebrate Christmas.

We decided to go buy a fake tree this year, and while I'm a little sad about it, when I think about Tyler eating half of a real tree before we'd even hit Christmas day, I'm glad we did it. Plus, it's a very pretty tree. Just for kicks, here's a picture!

Here is my cute little stocking holder! This year it is full! All four are taken, so I guess we'll have to buy a new one.... in like 5 years :)

Here is the kids little tree that we keep at the top of the stairs outside of their bedrooms. Jordyn and Tyler love to 'ooh and ahh' over it everynight. :)

And of course, the reason for the season. This is one of my favorite Nativity scenes. It's great to have a reminder of why we celebrate Christmas in the first place!

Finally, last but not least, I had to post this picture, because it's just soooo darn cute! My cousin emailed it to me today. Here is Kenny and Tyler over Thanksgiving break in colorado. We got ALOT of comments about how Tyler looks like Kenny, and I believe he even earned the nickname "Kenny Jr". It's definitely a compliment!
