Tyler's Birthday- Part 2

Here is Tyler's cake he had for his party. It was pretty easy, although it still didn't turn out nearly as good as the Martha Stewart original, haha, but that's ok. It only last a few minutes before it was devoured anyway. The monkey seemed to fit Tyler :)
Tyler didn't get nearly as messy as I thought he would, or as messy as Jordyn did when she turned one. But that's ok, he loved the cake! And it made for an easy cleanup.
Aw, what a cutie!
After his party, we went bowling with all the family. Jordyn got a gumball while we were there, and it was so big she walked around with her mouth wide open the whole time. I thought it was pretty funny.

So, happy birthday Tyler! The other great things about him being one are that he is no longer nursing as of 4 days ago. Woo hoo!! I am very happy about that. We had a good run and made it till a year, but I was ready to be done. He is now totally on whole milk. So for once in the past 3 1/2 years I am not pregnant or nursing! (And it will stay that way for a while :)) Also, he is not totally sleeping through the night! This makes me the most happy. His sleeping was pretty sporatic before; I never knew what to expect. But now he sleeps from 7-8 am, I love it! He is getting so big.
