So I thought I'd share a few things about J :) First of all, since my last post on potty training and how she'll never do it, she is doing it! She decided that going in the potty is not such a bad thing and she does it all the time! She does awesome. The only catch is that she'll only go when Matt helps her, not so much for me. But when he's home, she is practically 100% potty trained, all the sudden. Once he leaves, she will grab a diaper or pullup and put it on herself, waiting to go potty again until daddy returns. Yep, that's my girl!
Next, a preface to our conversation. All of the stores that we go to are referred by the first letter of the name of the store. For example, W- store = Walmart. W-food = Wendys. A-store = Albertsons, M-store = Maceys, etc. So today in the car, we had this conversation.
Me: J, should we go shopping for some new shorts for you?
J: Yeah!
Me: Ok, we will try Target, the T-store.
J: Ummm, no, let's go to the C-store for new clothes.
Me: Huh? I don't think there are any C-store clothes places (trying to rack my brain for what she was talking about)
J: Mom, there are clothes at Costco, remember? Those are my favorite clothes.
Then, this happened a few days ago.
Me: J, will you PLEASE stop kicking your brother?! Tyler doesn't like it, it makes him sad.
J: No, he does like it! He told me he did!
Me: No it's making him cry, you need to stop.
J: Silly Ty, you are just being silly! He likes kicking!

So funny. I love the things that little kids come up with to say.
That's great that she is potty training - at least when Matt's home. =) And that cracks me up that she refers to stores that way. Very imaginative!
