Happy J-Dizzle

Here are some pictures from the day of J's surgery. These were all taken after she was given her "happy" drug hahaha. That is why she is not screaming or fighting the nurse, or better yet trying to leave the hospital. She was trying to give us a 'before' picture of her mouth. I have a better one I'll post when I get an after.

Lookin' good in her scrubs (that she would NOT put on without happy drug), with her hospital buddy and bubbles that the awesome hospital volunteers brought to us. They were these cute ladies who tried so hard to make J stop screaming.

You can tell, she's more drunk here. And she's showing off her hospital socks. Sooo cool....

A few minutes after that, she was getting soo wobbly and out of it, we laid her in the bed. Then she decided to make puppets out of her socks, it was quite amusing!

Now that we are home, J does alot of this.... (yes, in my bed, day and night) She's so cute sleeping, and now her snoring is practically gone! An improvement already.

And, as a special surprise for J (since she's been sleeping in our room anyway), we painted her room for her. She had picked out this color that she likes to call "pretty princess purple". I got it finished while both of my kids were napping yesterday. I forgot how much I get done when they both nap! It's great! She loves her new room. Cute, no?

Okay, I'm sorry but those "happy drugs" are hilarious! Poor Jordyn! Hopefully things are getting better everyday. And her room looks great!! I really like it.

Wow, she's getting so big! She's a trooper and so are you and Matt! The purple is gorgeous, I'll bet she loves it.

I'm glad you see improvement already. I love the picture of her sleeping in your bed, there is just something about mommy's bed that kids love. Hopefully in the next couple days she will be back to normal.

Carolyn, That's so sad....but so funny! There was actually a kid right next to us in the waiting room that got given the exact same thing, so I know exactly what you're talking about! If Brynlie were older, they would have done this exact same surgery, too...who knows. maybe she will one day. I'm so, so sorry! I feel for you, too!
