I can't believe it's been almost a week since Christmas already! Time definitely does not go this fast leading up to Christmas! Christmas Eve we had a great time, filled with lots of fun stuff.
First, Matt decided to build a sled ramp in our front yard. Not quite as big as last years, but we didn't have quite as much snow that day as we do now. Of course, Jordyn loved it. I somehow missed getting any pictures of Ty sledding. Next time for sure!

Tyler got so sad when his gloves got snow on them. That is the one downfall with Tyler, he loves the snow, but hates getting snow on him! Silly boy.
Matt had to take a turn. Wheeeeeeee!
Then after dinner we headed out to the towns awesome Christmas light display. They have a bunch of lights and displays set up throughout the park, and you drive mercilessly slow with about 100 other drivers going around the same park. It is alot of fun though, and the kids are obsessed with christmas lights, so it's fun. Besides the fact they charge you, but oh well. We make up for it by going around a few times. Then we get our money worth!
Thanks to the slow driving, (not even driving, more like idling and breaking) the kids got to sit on our laps as we went around. Makes it much easier to see all the lights. Jordyn on dad's lap.
Tyler and me. Gee Ty, you should really smile once in a while, so when I tell people that you really are happy, they will believe me. :) Atleast you can see the lights in the background!
And a closeup. Way to shine, little town lights!
After that, we read the Christmas story and acted it out, but with nativity scene instead of real life stuff. I doubt Tyler would have done well as a baby... But they like it that way.
THEN, (sorry, longest post ever!) they got to open their one present on Christmas eve. They both picked their presents from their Great Grandparents, and what a mighty fine choice it was!
Tyler got a new pair of PJ's and this sweet jacket is was sooo excited about, and a bean bag.
Jordyn got the same- PJ's, jacket and bean bag. So they both wore their new jammies to bed that night.
Here they are sporting their new jackets that night. Of course without looking and smiling.
We even made cookies for Santa and tracked Santa online. Jordyn was obsessed with asking where he was now and when he was coming to her house. What a fun night.
