Last night we took the kids up to Temple Square to see the Temple lights. It was a blast! Jordyn has been obsessed with the temple lately, so she was especially looking forward to this outing.
Lately, she has been talking all about how she wants to go to the temple when she gets bigger and older. She talks about getting married there, and one night she even made Matt read to her from the Holy Temple pamphlet the church has published. It has been sweet for Matt and I to hear her show such a love for the temple at such a young age. She is even getting Tyler excited about it. We love to talk about it as much as we can.
So of course, we had to get a picture with Jordyn and Tyler in front of the temple.

Dad and kids- we're not sure what Jordyn was doing, hahaha. :)
Oh geez, is this a preview of what's to come in 30 years?!?! (She's not allowed to date til 30)
Tyler was trying to break in.
And of course, they loved the water fountain. Tyler tried to dive in a get the coins. All he said was, "Money, mommy, MONEY! Get it!" Don't worry, we didn't take any :)

Those were great pictures!! I love the one of Jordyn standing in the alcove thing. Very cute! And I'm glad you didn't take any money. ;) I think it's great that Jordyn is so into the temple right now. Way to go guys!
Ah I am so jealous you live so close to SLC temple, it's beautiful in the Winter with the lights.
So cool! I love the SLC temple, that's my temple now and I'm becoming quite attached... I love Jordyn's enthusiasm! 30 years?!?! She's coming from your genes...isn't she 3? so 16 years? :) JK! I tell my students not to date until they're in the 20's! They laugh at me.
