California!! (part 1)

So, as I am writing this blog post, it is snowing outside. (thanks to this storm, we had to come home a day early! bah humbug!) It makes me miss California that much more! We just got back yesterday from an awesome vacation to Cali. All we did was hang at the beach! (Oh, and squeeze a wedding in there... :)) I had forgotten how warm it still is there, even at the end of October. We hit the warms beaches with perfect 80 degree weather. Ahhh... :) I also took over 250 pictures, so I had to condense them, and surely some good ones won't make it, but I'll try my best.

Here is Jordyn the first day. She LOVED the beach. Jordyn ran right in the waves no problem. Then her and Bethany had fun playing and running. She just loved it. There are no pictures of Tyler the first day because, sadly, he did not love the beach.

Next day, we headed up to Santa Barbara for my Grandma's wedding. (the reason for the trip). It was a nice ceremony, and she was sooo happy. You're never too old for love I guess! :) Tyler fell asleep after the ceremony and I'm pretty sure about 50 old people ended up with a picture of Ty sleeping because it was so cute.

After the wedding we headed to Carpinteria, probably my favorite beach, for some hang out time. It was late, and the sun was setting. So pretty! And of course it didn't stop Jordyn from doing some swimming. Our family picture-

Then some guy walked by with a bunch of birds, and stopped to let us hold them. Here's Matt and Ty. Tyler thought it was pretty cool.
