This morning Tyler got up at 6:00 am. I was soo tired, so I threw him in bed with me to see if he would go back to sleep. No. He was soon bouncing and drumming. So I told him to just hop on my computer and play games (his fave). He went over, but for some reason couldn't find the button to turn the screen on in the dark. He came over and asked me to do it, but I was so tired I told him to try again. He came back after "trying again" and did this.
Ty: Mom, pwease you can turn on the puter for me?
Me: I'm too tried to get out of bed, you can do it.
Ty: (He gets really close to my face, eyes wide open and whispers): Mom, I know you can do it. Go see if you can turn it on all by yourself like a big girl.
Then just a little bit ago as I was getting ready in the bathroom, Jordyn came in and told me she needed new clothes, and could I get them for her for Christmas. I told her that she would have to ask Santa Claus, because he is in charge of presents. She seems ok with that, and walks out. A few minutes later I hear this-
Jordyn picks up my phone and starts pushing keys: "Beep beep beep boop beep beep boop beep. Tyler, it's ringing! Hi Santa, this is Jordyn Elizabeth Detro, and I want to tell you what to get me for Christmas. I need some new clothes, and a big Snow White pillow from Costco. And maybe some new princess movies. I think you can buy those at Costco too. Hey Tyler! What do you want? I'm talking to Santa. (Tyler mumbles) Santa, he wants some new clothes too. And a Cars pillow too. Oh, and he wants a driving car with McQueen on the side. It only fits one person, but that's ok. I want my own. And you can buy that at Kmart Smart. Bye Santa!"

That is hilarious and shows how smart they both are! Wow. How Cute!!!
So funny! I love Tyler's comment to you.
Oh my gosh! So cute!
It was incredibly forward thinking of her to clue Santa in on where to find the items on her list. And a phone call is so much more direct than a letter set by the fireplace. Impressive.
That is funny! My aunt has a list of all the funny things her kids say on the side of her blog and it is my favorite thing to read! Where do they come up with this stuff?
I love it!! Maybe Jordyn could just do the shopping for Santa and that would take care of that.
