Last night we had our ward Christmas party. Jordyn has been counting down to this party for a long time, mainly because she knew Santa was going to be there taking requests. And, well, who doesn't love a good party anyway? :) It was a lot of fun!
Jordyn got to sing on stage with the primary, and even got to hold the bells for a song. And yes, she is wearing a dress. She insisted on wearing a Christmas dress for the party. Such a girly girl.

And here's Jordyn with Santa. She was SOOO excited when Santa came in, and kept asking us where his sleigh was and just how he got there. Then she happily hopped on his lap, and when he asked her what she wanted, she excitedly told him! I caught the picture right as she is saying "I want a new princess vanity!!!!"
Tyler sat on his lap, but wouldn't say anything. Hey, at least he didn't scream! It was the best we had hoped for :)
I love that the kids totally "get" Christmas this year. Everything about it! Not only Santa, but they know all about Jesus and that we are celebrating His birth. This may be our best Christmas yet. :)

Sounds like you guys had fun. I love that it looks like Tyler is cuddling with Santa in the picture. And I love how excited Jordyn was. So looks beautiful in her dress!

I thought it was so great how Darryl was there in plain sight for the whole party with his bleached beard and eyebrows, and yet as soon as he showed up with his Santa outfit on, the kids just completely accepted that he was Santa Claus :)
