Sleep deprivation does craaaaazy things to a person. And I am convinced that no one has it crazier than I. :) I love my little Reagan to pieces, but being a newborn, she obviously doesn't sleep all night long. She is usually up every 2-3 hours, so she can peacefully chug away while I struggle to stay awake long enough to put her back to sleep, and hopefully not fall asleep sitting up.
So the last week, it has really started to kick my trash. I have some funny stories:
- I put away a cookie cutter in the chicken nugget bag, instead of the cookie cutter bag.
- I forgot to put Reagan's diaper on all the way at 1 am, discovering at 4 am that I had only snapped her onsie up. (Luckily I did that much!)
- While cooking and eating waffles for breakfast one day, I buttered my waffle, then proceeded to pour milk on top. I honestly looked at the milk and my brain said "Yeah, that's syrup!". Definitely wasn't.
- I threw away a bottle of Olive Oil, and put the empty corn can in the pantry. Should have been the other way around...
- When Reagan was a little fussy one night, I kept trying to give her her pacifier. She kept opening her mouth and trying to get it, but wouldn't get it in her mouth. After a few minutes I started getting frustrated. That's when I realized I was trying to give it to her backwards.
I have never had mommy brain so bad! Maybe it only gets worse with each kid?? I dunno. Hopefully I am back to normal soon!
Atleast she's worth it :)

That is hilarious! The milk thing just kills me! Poor Carolyn. At least you didn't accidentally throw the BABY away instead of the diaper! :D

Hey at least you are enjoying life right now, but I would recommend that you do not drive for a while!!
