This week, Jordyn graduated from Kindergarten! It does not seem like it's been long enough since the beginning for it to already be over. I'm usually not the sappy and cry type of person, but I was in tears watching her program. It was just so fun. Our pictures aren't fantastic, because we didn't get great seats, and it was dark. So we had to zoom pretty far with our point and shoot.
First, all of the classes did a song together. It was an ABC sign language song. Jordyn did great! (her class is in yellow)
Then each class did their own song on the stage. Each kid had a chance to do a little "solo" dance, but it was 3 kids at a time. I only have video of Jordyn's part...
Here's her whole class up there. So cute!
Then they got together and did a stage song again, a little program, and this is the part that had me in tears. However, I only have video of that part, too! :)
Then, they all got back together and sang a Friends Forever song.
The whole singing part lasted almost an hour and a half! The kids have been practicing it for a few months now. All of the kids in all of the classes did awesome. It was so fun to watch.
Here's Jordyn getting her Kindergarten diploma.
She was supposed to come find us after she got hers, but instead she went back up stage and checked out her new diploma.
She was lucky enough to have 3 of her 4 grandparents there! All from Colorado.
Jordyn and Matt's parents.
Jordyn and my mom, Grandma Liz.
Afterwards, we went and gave her teacher a little present and got a picture. Mrs. Jenkins has been the BEST teacher I could have ever hoped for for Jordyn. She is just amazing. I can't say enough how happy I am that Jordyn had her for her teacher. Of course, I cried, Jordyn cried, and Mrs. J cried when we had to say goodbye. We just love her!

Looks like it was a great program!! I love the pictures of Jordyn looking at her diploma. So cute!! How fun that she had 3 of her 4 grandparents there. Makes it all the more special!
How come you didn't post any of the cute videos you were talking about???
Congrats to Jordyn! To me, it's just weird that Nathan has one week left of school--time has gone by fast! You are a fantastic mom :)
