Thankful for Matt

And a BIG Happy Birthday to my honey! Matt celebrated a big birthday Thanksgiving weekend.  Did y'all know he was actually born on Thanksgiving? How cool is that?!
We had a fun day.  Matt's brother and his wife were able to come down Saturday afternoon and babysit our kids for us while we went out to an early dinner then went to a movie.  It had been a long time since we've been on a date sans kids or a baby, so it was very nice.  And we haven't been to a movie just the two of us in years! It was a fun way for us to celebrate Matt's birthday.  So a big thanks to Jojo and Kristin!

With his birthday right after Thanksgiving, it only seems fitting to express my extreme gratitude for Matt.  He is an amazing dad to our kids, and a great husband.  I feel lucky everyday to be able to call him mine! Right now he is working full time, going to school, and serving as a counselor in our Bishopric. The bishopric is a huge calling, and Matt spends a lot of his time serving and helping other people.  I am so grateful for his dedication to service, and for the example he sets for our family.  He is such a humble person, and our family is so thankful for all he does for us.  The kids love him so much, especially Reagan. :) They have quite the strong daddy/daughter bond.  It's so special to watch him teach our children and help them grow and learn.
Thank you, Matt, for all you do for us, and for being you.

So, after uploading my pictures from his birthday day, I realized I didn't have as many as I thought...
After we came home from our date, we had cake and ice cream, and Matt had to blow out his candles,
with help of course. :)

I tried getting a picture of the 3 kids together while Matt was dishing up cake and ice cream, but I swear that is an impossible task.
Nope...
Uh...
Not sure about this one...
It just kept getting worse...
and worse...
Until this. Ahhhh, a half way decent one! I'll take it.
