Jordyn's Piano Recital

Last weekend Jordyn had her very first piano recital.  It was so fun to watch and she was so excited to perform!  She has only been taking lessons since last September, and they picked this song back in October to have time to prepare, so it might have been a little easier for her than she needed, but that's ok.  She rocked it, and even had the whole thing memorized.  She seems to have a real talent for this piano thing, and it's a joy to have her play piano in our home every day.

 Her teacher, Carissa, is just awesome.  I am good friends with her, so Jordyn and her are very comfortable together. It's so fun! She's just the sweetest teacher.

The other fun thing is that Jordyn's friend Joe is also taking lessons from Carissa, and they have their lessons right next to each other.  They love that they do the same things and it's nice to have a little friendly competition going on to keep them motivated. 

Here's a partial video.  The only problem is that my memory card was full and it stopped recording after just the first line! I was so mad! Next time I'll make sure to check that before any big events.
