Too Much Drama

Girls are great, don't get me wrong. But man, even 3 year old girls pack alot of drama! For example, this was this morning:

Me: J, let's go upstairs and get dressed.
J: No, I want to stay downstairs.
Me: Please come up now and get dressed so we can go outside and play. (I start walking upstairs with Ty)
J: Mom, will you carry me upstairs?
Me: No, you can walk, you're a big girl.
J: (starts crying) No mom! I can't walk! You just broke my legs! I can't walk on broken legs!
Me: I did not break your legs, they are fine. Just walk upstairs please and let's get dressed.
J: (She is bawling now) Nooooo! They are broken in half! I can't walk! I just can't do it mom! (more crying)

Aye Carumba! Where does she come up with this stuff. Finally after 30 min, she came upstairs, and her legs were fine :)

So glad to hear that her legs were fine. =) Sounds like Jordyn and Madison were twins today. Madison was just on one all day it was driving me nuts. For instance, after I put the dress on her that she picked out (b/c for some reason she couldn't do it herself) she cried and cried that I didn't put the leggings on her - that by the way she hates b/c she says they are scratchy. Seriously!! Man, too much drama is right! It's probably good that I only have one girl. =)

Oh, my gosh!!! Welcome to my life! :) I've decided that Heavenly Father sends very strong-willed spirits to be the oldest children because it seems like everyone I talk to has the same oldest child! Today, Clark told me that he wasn't strong enough to pick up his sandwich, and even if he were, his mouth was too small to eat it. So could I please feed him, too?

Boy, are you in trouble. :-)

That reminded me of Julie when she was little. When she didn't want to walk and wanted to be carried she would say, "I can't walk, I have a bone in my leg."

that sounds INCREDIBLY familiar. :)
