Today in the car, while eating their 54th Smartie pack, Jordyn asks me, "Mom, do smarties make you smarter?"

"Not really, unfortunately."

"I was just wondering, because otherwise me and Tyler would be really smart!"

This is the best. A few days ago, Matt was leaving for campus, and was saying goodbye to the kids. As he started walking downstairs, Jordyn said this gem-

"Bye Dad, call us when you get a job!"
