Halloween!

So I guess like the rest of the blogging world, it's time for some Halloween pictures! We had a fun Halloween, especially since Jordyn was very excited this year. We picked up her costume at D.I. for $5 (can't beat that!) and she has been wearing it for the last month straight.

Tyler was a different story. The kid refused to wear a costume. Every time we took him to a store to browse through the costumes, we'd ask him what he wanted to be, and he would just say "No, I not wear a costume. I just be Tyler". It's hard to argue with that, especially since being Tyler is a good thing :). But we still snuck him in a "costume" but putting him in his Denver Nuggets shirt and hat, and calling it good. It still turned out cute.

The kids with their friends Braylee and Ty, who were a rodeo princess and rodeo clown.

Cute girls

This is how Tyler looked most of the night during trick or treating. We hit some pretty scary houses done up really well (too well for a 2 year old) and he was spooked.

Silly smile

Then, we rewind to a few days before Halloween. (I would have done it sequentially, but blogger wouldn't let me rearrange) We did some pumpkin carving. Jordyn of course had to wear her costume for the occasion.

They both dug in!

The final product. Mostly just faces, but Matt did the big one just for Jordyn.

Who doesn't love a pumpkin to match your costume? She loved it.

And, just a random one of us after. I love Tyler's big eyes and looong eyelashes. And Jordyn's crazy face. :)

What a great costume for $5 bucks. That is totally the way to go. And Tyler sounds like David last year. I actually didn't think I was going to get David in a costume this year either, but when we decided to do Mario he decided it would be okay. =) Boys. =)

The pumpkins looked great!! The snow white was AWESOME!

Cute costumes, and way to "sneak" a costume on him. That's so funny.

And, I agree - that Snow White pumpkin was awesome! What cute kids. :)
