Run for Cover!

Tonight at bedtime, Jordyn had a little bit of a rough time. We read stories, said prayers, but for some reason Jordyn wasn't happy with something. So, she cried. A lot. And very loudly. We shut her door, but her door and Tyler's are right next to each others, which means sound isn't easily muffled between rooms. Being the easy going kid Tyler is, he simply climbed in bed, and jammed his blanket against his ear, and calmly went to sleep, despite the noise next door.

It's hard to tell, but his blanket was wrapped around his hand, and jammed up against his ear :).
I moved the blanket from his face, and he was just too cute. I had to take another picture :) I love his easy going nature. And those lashes! He is one lucky kid.
In other Tyler news, although unrelated, apparently I need to start watching what I say around the house. Tyler has recently picked up a new phrase- "what the heck!". He has started saying it with everything! Sometimes it just cracks me up. He has said things like:

"Why the heck do we need to go to Macey's?"
"Where the heck did you go, Mom?"
"What the heck did I just pull out of my nose?"
"Jordyn, what the heck are you going to eat for breakfast today?"

Yeah... probably not good. Although I struggle to not burst out laughing sometimes. Coming from a 3 year old, it's just hilarious. Don't worry, we're working on it though.

Ethan (and apparently I) say "what the heck" too! It is kinda funny coming from a kid!
