Show And Teach

If there is one thing I've learned about Jordyn in the 5 1/2 years I've known her, it's that she is not afraid of being in front of people. Singing, dancing, talks, you got it. So when it was time for Show and Teach at school, she just couldn't wait! Different from Show and Tell, Show and Teach requires, well, teaching. Jordyn went ahead and signed herself up for one of the first slots at school, without consulting me first; she was just too excited!

Jordyn decided to teach her class how to make Chinese Paper Lanterns. They are cute and easy. She did a great job! She wouldn't ever practice in front of me, but I would hear her rehearsing in her room. She did a great job, and just did the whole thing by herself, while I watched on and sat in awe of my big girl. She's growing up too fast.

The middle of her teaching...

After she was done, her teacher opened it up to questions from the class.

Lots of questions! She had to pick three. Tough choice!

Then she passed a paper out to everyones spot so they could all make one too.

These things are such a cute craft. We've been making a ton of them, and this is what Jordyn decided to do with some of them.

Wow, I think Show and Teach is a brilliant idea! Those lanterns are adorable- I think we'll give those a try since we're still snowed in! Jordyn is such a cutie.

That is so brave of her!! I'm afraid my children will inherit my extreme stage fright.

What a cute craft idea!

Wow!! She looks like a natural up there. So confident and happy. I didn't know that she loved being in front of people so much. She's always so shy and quiet when I see her. Go Jordyn!!
