Easter

I better get these pictures up before it's too late to post about Easter! We had a good weekend, and it was a great Sunday because Matt didn't have to stay too late after church like he normally does. We dyed eggs the day before, and of course it's always a hit with the kids. 

Reagan just hung out. 

This is Jordyn's egg that she wanted me to make sure I put on the blog.  It's the sky, sun and grass. 

Easter Sunday we got the kids all dressed in their Easter best.  But I could NOT get a good picture. Jordyn was too busy doing before-church crafts, and Reagan just does not sit still anymore.  But they looked good. We did not do much in the way of baskets, I just don't feel like Easter should be another Christmas.  So they just got a chocolate bunny, that's about it. 

After church, things got a little messy.  It was probably 55 degrees and cloudy outside, but the kids were just itching to play outside. So, play outside they did! Next thing we know, they're both outside in their swimsuits filling up buckets and the sleds with water, making their own little water world outside.  I'm not sure how they didn't freeze their buns off, but they had an awesome afternoon. 

See, if you fill up the sled, it's like a mini pool!

All that water made quite the mud puddle.  It only adds to the fun!

And they had the "pool" to wash off in. 

I can't complain, they were so happy, and it was a fun day for everyone.
