When we were in San Diego, we decided to hit a cool tide pool area way down in South San Diego. (We were south enough that our cell phones thought we were in Mexico and wanted to charge us international rates.)
It was a perfect day, beautiful weather, and of course, the ocean. I love the ocean.

This is looking down to where we went. We got there at higher tide, sometimes it's really low.
Matt loved taking the kids to look in the holes in the rocks, and the tides to see what creatures they could find.
Grandma gave the kids great lessons on what animals were there. They loved it!

You got some great pictures! I loved the wave shot. That was an awesome action shot. I wanted to see a picture of the crab that jordyn was trying to get away from. :) I loved that picture of Tyler that you said you liked. And I was confused about the skipping rocks picture. You said your dad took some really cool pictures of the skipping rocks, but he was in the picture. :) that place looked really neat!
Looks so fun!! What a nice change of scenery for you guys. There's something about the ocean that just feels good. And cute pics of the kiddos! Ha, love Reagan in Sadie's twinner outfit!
Next time we go down there we are going to have to ask you guys all the hot spots to hit! That looks like so much fun!!
