Thankful for My Parents

These are my folks:

I know, I look nothing like them.  My mom is probably the happiest, most outgoing person you will ever meet.  My dad is just the coolest ever, and I could talk to him for hours.  

Really, they are the best. They are hip, fun, and so supportive.  They are the best grandparents, and my kids love them so much.  My mom always has the latest gadget, and is so kind to share with my kids who are deprived of such things when my parents are not around.  My dad loves to play with my kids, often in the way that results in so much laughter Tyler can hardly walk.  It's so fun to watch them interact, and I'm so glad that they have such a good relationship with each other.  Jordyn and Tyler often call them just to chat and talk their ears off. And my parents always seem to love it.

They have been some of the most supportive people to Matt and I through the last few years as we faced job loss, and other hardships.  They are always there for us to talk to, and lend a helping hand.  I am so thankful to have them as my parents! I am thankful for the great friendship that we now have. I am thankful that they raised me to know hard work, doing what's right, and being kind to other people. Mom, Dad, you guys are the best. We love you so much!!
