Earlier this week, Jordyn and Tyler decided to host a Lemonade Stand. They've been itching to make some spendin' money, and this was how they wanted to do it! Jordyn (with a bit of Tyler's help) made their own flier to pass out to friends and neighbors, to make sure everyone knew about their little business. (I helped with a few spell checks, but that's about it.)
Jordyn showing her sign. They were advertising lemonade, cupcakes, and otter pops, all for .25 cents.
(Don't mind the naked baby in the background. That's nothing unusual)
We got them all set up, Jordyn made a little sign for the front and we were open for business!
It was so cute. I helped out a little with the strangers that just stopped from the road, which we had quite a few of. They were a little more shy around the strangers. But a lot of our customers were just their really nice friends and neighbors! Thanks everyone for supporting their little stand. They actually made quite a haul, pulling in about $23. Not too shabby! It was a bit of work for me, getting everything made, but they had a great experience and learned a lot.
Every kid has to have a lemonade stand, right?

RIGHT!
Valuable lessons, indeed! I love so much that they had fliers to advertise. I am in full support of tiny entrepreneurs. I would have had one of each.
Let me know when their business goes national.
Dude, $23??? The only money I made doing lemonade stands growing up was like $2. If I was lucky. :)
That is awesome, what creative kids that come up with fliers and all. Nice work mama.
Seriously, I with Kristen. I never made more than $2 or $3 at a lemonade stand. There's some natural talent there that you definitely need to encourage. =) Way to go Jordyn and Tyler!!
