One of my kids favorite thing about summer is swim lessons! Jordyn has been able to swim for few summers now, but it's still fun for her to go and pass off another level. Tyler made huge progress this year, and is pretty much a self sufficient swimmer, too. Poor Reagan wore her swimsuit everyday, but was never allowed to get in the water. It was basically 2 weeks of torture for her. :)
Jordyn and her friend Joe happened to be in the same class together! We couldn't have planned it if we tried.
Tyler's teacher was amazing. I could not have been happier.
Reagan had to come watch Tyler, up close and personal.
On the last day, they did their play day, complete with slides and diving board jumps.
Jordyn did a canon ball her first dive off. This girl jumped off by herself, then made it to the side in 12 feet water without batting an eye.
Next year she wants to take the diving class, and she's totally ready for it.
Tyler didn't hesitate when it came to jumping, either.
They let him do a little swimming on his own, but we'll practice a little more.
I love having kids who can completely swim! It makes summer so much fun for them, and less stressful for me. :)
