Water Fight!!

Saturday night we had some great family time. It all started when Matt told the kids we could run to McDonald's to get ice cream.  We ate them out front, picnic style, and of course the kids ended up with chocolate and ice cream all over their faces.  We let Reagan turn on the hose and rinse off.

Then Jordyn and Tyler started running through the water.  They were getting each other wet while Matt and I lounged on the blanket. 

I teased the kids to get Matt wet, which they did, and it turned into a big family water fight! Oh man, it was so fun! Matt and I turned on each other, and both ended up completely soaked.  Reagan ended up stripping off her clothes (although that's nothing unusual), and all of us were laughing hysterically.

Jordyn probably had the best time off all.


I wish I had gotten more pictures, but my phone was in my pocket and after Matt hit me with a bowl full of water, I pulled it out because I didn't want to ruin it.  :)  I let it dry then ran out to get some at the end.  The kids keep asking when we can do that again.  It really was such a fun night.  The whole family, just running up and down the street, chasing each other with the hose, and buckets full of water.  The neighbors kept laughing at us and trying to give the kids tips.  It's nights like this that really pull us together as a family.  And I hope we get to do it again sometime soon!
