Jacob - Being Home

Jacob has only been home with us for a little over 2 weeks, but goodness it seems like he's been around forever! Our family feels so complete with him here, it's hard to remember what life was like before he came around.  So, here are some picture of him since we've had him home. Then I'll get back to posting about ALL of my kids. :)

As most newborns do, Jacob loves to sleep most of the day. 

After his first bath! He was a little unsure about it, but seemed to like it overall. 

All of the kids just LOVE Jacob. Sometimes, a little too much. But that's to be expected. :) It's always at least Reagan, Jacob and I at home, so she gets a lot of time with just him.  And she loves it. 

More sleeping, I just love the hand position. 

Our first picture as a family of 6! Yikes! Thanks to my dad for taking it for us. 

Luckily in between all of that sleep Jacob gets, he does have his wide awake alert times. He's fun to hang out with and watch his facial expressions. 

One day I laid Jacob on Tyler's bed, and he fell right asleep! Tyler was so happy, since it obviously meant Jacob would love Mario and Luigi as much as he does. :) (Tyler is excited about having a brother!)

Jacob is great at holding up his head. He's got some good strong neck muscles already! I tried taking this while holding him, so it's a little crazy. :)

Contemplating the big things in life....

This is also a normal scene. He hangs out in his bouncy chair while I feed the other 3, do dishes, laundry, etc. I had to take a picture, it says a thousand words!

And finally, I love this picture. I came out of the shower to Reagan showing me that she made sure Jacob had a friend to keep him company while he slept. She put her favorite bear next to him. So cute!

We sure love our little Jacob!
