A few weekends ago, we decided to head up to the zoo. Reagan has been begging, and begging to go to the zoo and see the animals, and we finally made it happen. We had some happy kids! Matt's parents and our niece Callie were also able to come, and it made it extra fun!
A picture with the bronze tiger statue. :)
Jacob was a trooper the whole time, just chilling in his stroller.
Jordyn and Callie, with Grandma on the carousel, a crowd favorite for sure.
So, we had a cool experience with the Tiger. The tiger is usually always out and about when we've gone to the zoo, but we've never seen one up close. Well, while we were there, this Tiger (which happens to be one of the biggest tigers in the world) came down to the water, right by the window. He was pretty fascinated with the people, I guess, and Jordyn especially. You can see in this second picture, he put his nose right up to the window where Jordyn's face was. She was a little spooked, and backed up, haha, and I'll admit it was intense, but cool! He stood there and stared at us for a good few minutes, then just stood there and looked around. It was actually really neat.
Oops, more carousel pictures. :)
Reagan and the kids are already asking when we can go back again. Hopefully soon!
