6 Months Old

I always said this kid would be lucky to make it to his first birthday, with all the rough housing and man handling that goes on thanks to being the 4th child. But welp, he's made it half way, I'm feeling good about the next half! :) 

At his 6 month check up, Jacob weighed in at just shy of 20 lbs (88th %) and measured in at 27 1/2" (80th%). His head is 95%. He's a big boy! Jacob could not be any happier. He is a very content, happy baby, and I love him for it. We don't need 2 crazies around here. :)

At 6 months, Jacob has mastered sitting and rolling. And he's been army crawling for a few weeks now. In the last few days, he's started getting up on hands and knees and trying to real crawl! And I think he'll have it down soon. He says dada, nana, baba, and mama, and loves to laugh hysterically and his brother and sisters.  He sleeps for 12 hours at night, sometimes waking just once. He likes some solids, and not others, but loves to eat in general. He's just a pleasant, happy, content little guy who likes to just hang. We love watching our Jacob grow up.
