I will never forget the moment. Reagan was 2 days old, and we had just brought her home from the hospital earlier that day. Matt and I sat on the bed, adoring at our new baby girl and her tiny-ness. I remember looking at her and feeling something different. I turned to Matt and told him that there was something different about this girl, I could just feel it. I couldn't pinpoint what, or why I felt that way, and part of me was worried. Did it mean something was wrong with her? Or going to be wrong with her? By all accounts she was perfect and healthy, though.
Now she's 3. In her 3 short years, I think I've come to realize that she is just my different child! Ha! She has done everything almost completely opposite that Jordyn and Tyler did it. She has been a whole new experience for me, and I thought by the third I would have this mom thing down! But she is a whole new personality, a new spark in our family, and we just love it. She is feisty and funny, silly and sneaky, and just oh so happy. She constantly looks homeless and dirty, but doesn't care one bit. She says the funniest things and keeps us on our toes. Reagan has her dad wrapped around her little fingers, and we just couldn't imagine life without our Reagan.
She opened up presents from Grandparents a little early, and loved it! She got some sweet Minnie Mouse toys, and hasn't stopped playing with them since.
She gave this present Two Thumbs Up!
Matt and I decided to buy her a new bike for her birthday. She picked out one at Walmart, then she rode it to the check out, we bought it and she rode it outside. She was so excited! We couldn't stop laughing at her, riding her bike around the store, in her princess dress.
Some things about Reagan:
I can hardly ever get a normal picture of her. She can't smile normal when there is a camera around, and she can't look at the camera for some reason. :)
She is constantly playing dress up.
She likes to sneak popsicles, and KNOWS that she isn't supposed to have them at certain times. Thus, I find her hiding a lot. Oh, she also prefers to be naked.
She is often covered in some sort of food.
She loves her siblings, and wants to be big just like them. Happy Birthday Reagan!
