Eight! Jordyn is 8!

This is my beautiful girl. 

She just turned 8. 

We took her to Build A Bear workshop. She loves stuffed animals. 

My mom made her a sweet new blanket. Jordyn is a little obsessed with blankets. She sleeps with at least 10 on her each night. 

She also got a lot of Lego's. She's also a little obsessed with these things, too. 

She's such a big helper to me, and she loves her brothers and sister. I couldn't ask for a better oldest child. 

This is Jordyn at 5 months old.  In some ways, she doesn't even look like the same person anymore!

I thought that The Big 8th Birthday was so far away, but here we are. I have an 8 year old. She starts 3rd grade next year. I truly can't believe it.

Jordyn is such a sweet, sensitive girl. Her emotions run deep, and she cares deeply about people and feelings. She is a crier, thanks to her sensitivity, and I love it about her. She just feels so... deeply. (No other way to say it, really!)

She is smart, and funny. She loves to laugh, and she loves to learn. She loves to read, and create. She still loves all things girly. Jordyn is always so nice and respectful to her friends and her teachers. I am so thankful to have such a good, sweet girl.

We love our Jordyn. So, so much. Happy 8th Birthday, Jordyn!
