Colorado Vacation

Have I mentioned on here before how much I miss Colorado? Cause I do.  I adore Colorado and everything about it.  We just went and spent 10 days there to see Matt's brother who came home from his mission, and just to visit in general. It was so fun! 

The kids are great travelers, and luckily for us Jacob seems to be following suit. He did absolutely fantastic. He'd just chill, then just go to sleep, then just hang. He hardly made a peep and was totally content. Love that boy. The other kids did great too. Here are some pics from the drive out:

The first few nights we stayed at my parents. The kids love playing in the little stream and waterfall that my dad has put in their backyard. It IS pretty sweet, and very serene. 

After a few nights we moved over to Matt's parents house. While there, my brother Kenny and his wife Corbyn came to visit. The kids just adore them, they are the coolest! Kenny's always up for a good tackle. I love the top right picture. They had such a blast playing outside. 

The next day we ventured north a little to a pretty sweet petting zoo. The kids fed the animals some grain and go to ride some tractors. It was a fun day!

My mom bought this sweeeeeet slip'n'slide, and we used it at both houses. It's 25 feet long with 3 lanes and 3 racing boogie boards. It was a huge hit. Matt's brother and their 5 kids were staying there too, so there were a lot of kids, and lots of fun to be had. 

Some other fun we had: Tyler loves shooting the BB Guns, we did a ton of 4-Wheeling, and tire swinging by the river, we roasted marshmallows and made smores. They have such a fun house! 

And I love the picture of Jordyn and her cousin Madison. They had matching shirts and hair! Other cousin Callie was there later, but I don't have a picture of the 3. 

We had a great time, and it was so fun to see everyone! Thanks to grandparents who hosted us!
