Grotto Falls with Dad

Back in July, I had to take a little hiatus by myself up to Idaho. I was forced to wean Jacob, but he wasn't really having it. So I had to leave for a few days so he would finally take a bottle. Luckily, it worked.

While I was in Idaho with my sister and parents, I was feeling pretty guilty about leaving Matt with the 4 kids by himself, and hoping he was faring pretty well. Then he sent me some pictures of the 5 of them hiking the Grotto. Why do dad's gotta make it look so easy?? Ha, I didn't have to worry anymore after that. The kids had a great time and Matt is a super hero dad. I'm so grateful that he is so supportive and willing to take on all the kids by himself for a few days for my benefit. I am one lucky lady. :)

Matt said the 3 older ones all had to have a hat and their own backpack. They're so funny.

Luckily there was another person there to take a picture of all of them.

The 4 kids.

The girls brought their swimsuits and played in the water. Jordyn says the water was cold! But a lot of fun.

They had a great time! We can't wait to go again as a whole family. If you've never been I highly recommend it. It's a great family hike, and just beautiful!
