We have had a LOT of rain this summer. Not as much as Colorado and their flooding, but still a lot for us. It has made for some fun, as the kids like to play in the rain and the water. Sometimes the lightning was pretty bad though, and we'd have to stay inside. This storm was insane. It poured rain, and we got a few inches in just a few hours. There was a river running down our sidewalk! Pictures don't do it justice. The kids had fun running around in it.

This was supposed to be a video, but I guess it didn't upload. Still a funny picture though! :)
Then a few days later, we had another doozie. We went outside afterwards and found quite a few big puddles (lakes) in the streets and parking lots. We let the kids play in this one, even though the water was cooooold. But it was really deep, and fun to jump around in.
With all the storms we've also had some pretty spectacular rainbows. It's beautiful to see.
