At the end of school, Jordyn was able to participate with all the 3rd graders in the whole city at a track and field meet. I was lucky enough to have Matt take the day off and watch the other kids while I volunteered as a helper to help run the meet. It was a lot of fun! It was a warm day (after the morning winds died down) and the kids had a great time.
Here's Jordyn with some of her class.
She signed up for the 50 yard dash. She didn't qualify to move on, but she did a good job!
At the finish line.
She also did the softball throw. Check out this action shot! :)
And the standing long jump.
Jordyn and her friend Kya.
It was a great time! Tyler was bummed he didn't get to do it, and he'll have to wait till 3rd grade. Way to go Jordyn!
