4th Grade Showcase

A few weeks ago Jordyn had her 4th grade showcase at school. Basically, every month a different grade of the school does an hour long song and dance show that they've been practicing. Jordyn's grade was the first one, I believe.  They had most of the audience sit on the floor, which I'll admit didn't make me a very happy camper. haha. It was not comfortable! But we survived and all is well. :) She was lucky enough that Kenny and Corbyn came, as well as Grandma's and grandpas, it was so fun!

All of their songs were about Colorado and how awesome it is. :) This school has some state pride, that's for sure! I couldn't get my videos to upload, I'll have to keep working on that. They sang a song first. There's Jordyn in the middle. I hate the quality of them, all I had was my phone camera and we were sitting far enough away that I had to zoom pretty far to get a picture of her. Lame.

The second song Jordyn did the xylophone. It was a pretty easy song, but I was happy to see her branching out.

And I was even more pleased when she played the recorder on the song!

They did songs with a lot of movement, and it was hilarious to watch Jordyn dance around. She was so cute!

After the show, we wandered through the art showcase, and this was one of the pictures Jordyn drew.

We are happy she goes to a good school, and thriving to much!

Wow!! I loved to see all the different talents she has. How fun that she got to sing and play several different instruments. Love it. I also loved the picture she drew. That was SO good!!
