School Activities

The end of the year is always a little bit busier than the rest of the year. But so fun for the kids.  The older three have had some fun things lately. Here's a recap:
Tyler had a dissection of a cow eyeball. Ew ew ew gross gross gross. They needed a lot of parent volunteers to come help, and Tyler kept asking me to go, and I kept refusing. I'm a bad mom. :)
But seriously:

However, Tyler loved it. It was a great experience for him! I don't think I was dissecting anything in second grade, and this is why I love his school.  Ami's dad sent me these pictures, since he was there.

This is Ami in the front with Tyler. I don't know who the other boy is...

Then, Jordyn had an Energy Symposium. Each Fourth grader had to write up an essay about energy, and make a prototype of what they wrote about. They had to write about a way to use energy that would help the environment. (This is what the IB program is all about, helping the earth.) She wrote about using energy from lightning to power a house. She wrote a really good essay, and put the prototype together all by herself.  We had a fun time going and touring all the classes and seeing all the fun stuff the kids put together.  Isn't she a cutie? And a smarty pants.

And Reagan's preschool had a field trip to a farm up north. It was so cute! I love her school and I'm so sad it's about over. It's a fun petting zoo with a lot of animals that you can feed and pet.
Here's some of the crew. None of them are looking except Reagan, and it looks like she's choking Jacob. Yeesh.

Ha, she's been trained well.

I love this. She fed the goat, which she wouldn't do last time!

Then I caught this cute picture of her laughing, because she said it tickled her hand. I love real moments like this.

The tour guide took us on a hay ride, and of course Reagan and Alicia sat by each other, and were happy to pose for a picture for me.

Jacob wasn't too sure at first about the hay ride, but warmed up to it eventually.

And last but not least, I have to include a picture of this that I found in Tyler's backpack. Him and Ami are planning a lemonade stand where they also sell bracelets. They both have been learning to make their own survival bracelets, and have been selling them at school, my little entrepreneur, ha! :) And now they want to sell them on a street corner. It's a very organized operation. So funny!

Love these kids! Such fun memories I'm glad I can remember forever.

Haha!! I'm laughing so hard about your EW video. Cracks me up. I'm shocked they are dissecting in 2nd grade, but that is super cool. They don't do that until 7th grade out here.

Lots of fun activities and cute pictures!!
