I love fall. Love it! We went up to Rocky Mountain National Park yesterday afternoon to check out the fall colors and see if we could find any animals. And boy, we were not disappointed. I love being up there! Unfortunately for us, so does the rest of Colorado.
The weather was a perfect 75 degrees, beautiful and sunny. It was such a nice way to spend our Sabbath day.
This big guy was just hanging out on the top of a hill. He was huge!
We found a fun place to walk around, Beaver Ponds I think. I love this picture of Matt and Tyler.
Reagan was taking in the sights with her binoculars.
Tyler said he wanted it to look like a creeper was here. He's too cute to miss, though.
Reagan and Jacob had fun wandering up a hill by themselves.
Gorgeous.
So this guy is NOT a fan of the camera lately. He smiles and smile and then when he sees the camera he gives me this scowl. Still adorable, though.
Jordyn said she didn't really remember it being this pretty. Maybe she's just getting old enough to appreciate stuff like this. :) I love it.
See all those cars? And all the brake lights? We spent a lot of time in traffic lines, while everyone else was looking at leaves and animals.
Reagan took this picture of Matt and I. It turned out pretty well. :) I love my man.
Jacob....
Oh hey, Mr. Elk. Jacob refers to these as reindeers, and I've noticed we all started calling them that. People were looking at us funny, so I corrected myself. Too funny.
I love getting out in nature. It never disappoints.

I'd call them reindeer as well. I'll bet no one with young kids gave you a weird look. They get it :)!
Looks like there was gorgeous scenery. How fun!
Wow!! Those pictures are GORGEOUS!! Although, I would HATE that traffic. At least you were out for a leisurely family drive. Haha! Gorgeous scenery, though and those Elk were HUGE!
