Yesterday may possibly have been one of the best day's of J's life so far. :) While Matt was at work, I took the kids to a city festival. They were having a 'Fish Rodeo' for the children, and while I had not planned on letting J go fishing, she begged and begged. So I caved. But it ended up being awesome!
We got a ticket, and they gave J a plastic bag, took her to this giant man-made pond, and let her dive in. A cute little teenager helped her get in and open the bag. I was not allowed to go in to help. So J starts grabbing for the fish- barehanded! After a few minutes, they handed her a net to help catch it, and she ended up ushering in a fish with her hands into this net. Then the girl helped her get it into her bag.
I wish I had gotten a good picture, but I was holding Ty and there were soooo many parents around watching all of their kids.
So of course, I had her pose with her 20 :)
Then, Ty had to pose with the fish.
Then, I just thought these were cute. J loves to help Matt cook. Hopefully she will pick up his culinary skills, not mine :)

This post made me laugh for so many reasons. First because-go Jordynn! That's freakin' awesome she went in there and snagged the winning fish! Then I laughed because you made her pay for her own movie, lol. And then when you went right into the cooking pics I totally thought they were chopping up Mr. fish, haha. Ahhh...that was all awesome.
Oh my gosh, Sara, I came on here to comment on the same thing. I love how it delves into the cooking pics and I totally thought they were chopping up the fish! lol. Hilarious!
I think that fish catching thing is AWESOME! Cadence would LOVE something like that. California is lame! Why don't they have things like that here? lol. Cute pics!
Your kids are soooo cute. I love seeing pictures of them. That's so crazy that she just happened to get a winning fish!
And I can see you in the microwave taking the pictures, lol.
Ahhahahah I didn't even think about the cooking pictures after the fish. Oops! lol.
And for the record, she wanted to see the movie! lol, but don't worry, she still has her $20. hahaha
I am so glad to be listed as one of your peeps. Just so you know.
Yeah, I thought you were chopping up the fish, too. Thanks funny! But that's awesome that she caught the fish. He was huge!! Way to go Jordyn.
