Last night, Jordyn was begging and begging us to take her camping. She grabbed the tent out of the closet and threw it downstairs, packed her own bag of clothes, and even found the sleeping bags. She was determined. And, we were actually going to do it. She had actually convinced us to go. Well, then it was pouring rain and was supposed to keep on raining, and we decided it would be just too crazy to go real camping.
So you know what's totally sane? Putting a tent in your living room, that is BIGGER than your living room. Yeah, that's not crazy at all! What really isn't crazy is how much the kids loved it. I guess these are the sorts of creative ideas you have to come up with when you've got no job :).
After it's set up, and the kids are in heaven! Uh, not sure why Tyler wasn't wearing clothes...

I tried to get a good picture of just how big this tent is in our living room. It was literally corner to corner, and even then the sides were smashed in a little.

Yeah, we did actually sleep there too! Except Ty. He was soooooo tired, he ended up going to bed at 6 pm in his bed that night. But he then slept until 8:30 am. I'll take it.
See? It was so huge our couch and recliner spent the night in the kitchen. Totally sane. But also hilariously fun. :)

That looks like a lot of fun and a lot cheaper and warmer then spending the night outside in the mountains. Very creative, I like that idea. I am going to need some good ideas like that this winter to entertain Zoe since we wont be going outside.
That is so fun. And even better? If you get sick of sleeping on the floor in the middle of the night ... you can sneak up to your own, comfy bed and they won't even know. :) hehe.
