Well, here we are at the start of yet another school year! I feel like time is perpetually speeding up, and it's weirding me out! So here's the run down on all of the kids:
Reagan started preschool two days a week. We debated a lot about whether or not to put her in preschool, and if we did where/when/who, and on and on. I was leaning towards just keeping her home, because while I see the value of preschool, I am in no way a die-hard-must-do-preschool person. But, one day out of the blue, Matt's mom mentioned a lady she knew who did a cute preschool out of her house, and it was very popular. We emailed her and she happened to have an opening for Reagan's age! She was BY FAR the best priced we'd found, and has the same values we do and it was a great environment. We decided to go for it. And we've been very happy so far! Reagan loves it and is learning a lot. It's also a joy school/preschool combo, and I love the teachings. Reagan comes home with at least 3 crafts from the day, and the teacher is amazing. We are thrilled for her! Plus I still get my Reagan most of the time so it's a win-win.
Tyler is now in 2nd grade. He is attending the school I was hoping both kids would go to, but Jordyn is not with him. He has an amazing teacher, and while we're still adjusting to some minor and some major differences here than what we're used to, it's been a good experiences overall and I'm very happy with how things are going. He is being tested for their Gifted and Talented program, and we are excited for the many opportunities he is having here.
And, this girl. How is she in 4th grade? It's blowing my mind. She is in a different school than I was hoping (it was our 2nd choice), but the school Tyler is in is full for 4th grade, so they are at 2 different schools. We have been pretty happy with her school, and if you ask her she'll tell you it's the best thing ever! She has quickly made new friends, joined the choir, and just loves it. She has blossomed and we are thrilled with how things are going for her. As with Tyler's school, it is a lot different than what we are used to from Utah, and this school is even very different from Tyler's school, but it's been a fun experience to try new things.
2 cuties on their first day!
All four
It's a little more quiet around here nowadays, just me and these 2 silly kids. And sometimes just Jacob and I! It's very strange. And I'm not sure how I got to this point so quickly. One day I have a bunch of little kids, and the next I'm looking at being home alone soon.
They enjoy lazy mornings some days. And so do I....
It is the most rewarding thing to watch your kids grow and learn, and be happy and successful, and all that fun stuff. It's also one of the most heartbreaking! You start wondering if you had enough time, if you taught them enough, if they are ready! And if they will miss you like you miss them. Sure, my kids drive me crazy sometimes, but I love them like only a mama could. They are everything! And I hope they always know that.

That is crazy that you have three kids in three different schools (I'm including Reagan in that). I don't know how you do it. But I'm glad it's turning out to be a good experience!
