Butterfly Pavilion

This last week, Reagan had a field trip with her joy school up to the Butterfly Pavilion. What fun! I love her little preschool. Her teacher is just fantastic and I can't say enough good things about it and how happy I am that she's there. So fun!

The group.

Since we were a field trip group, we had a little personalized presentation with one of the workers who showed the kids some cool bugs up close. This one is a cockroach. Ewwww! Most of the kids touched it, but as you can see on Reagan's face, she wasn't really a fan. Ha! :) They also got to see a hermit crab and a millipede.

Then we went to play in the cool play area.

Stuck in a spider web!

Reagan was extra brave this trip (Whaaa?!) and touched every animal she was allowed to. This is the sting ray.

Ha, I love this picture. Jacob was a wild kid, and I think I lost him three times. But he had a blast and we all survived.

Nice, Reagan.

That big pink blob is a giant start fish. It was very entertaining.

We even waited in line and Reagan held Rosie the tarantula. She said it was tickly feeling.

And just some pictures of the butterflies. It was really cool to see! I have never been here before so it was fun to see it all.

It was pretty much full of all these pretty blue butterflies, but it was hard to catch the blue part. Usually they stayed closed up when they landed.

But I had one land RIGHT next to us, and I was going to take a sweet picture! Right as I clicked the button, Jacob's arm went flying in the picture. Sigh...

Jacob and Reagan and their friends Alicia and McKay. Alicia and Reagan are cute buddies in class. It was so humid in this room that Reagan's hair was a curly mop!

The butterflies liked to eat strawberries.

Jacob was a little scare of all the butterflies. And I took a picture of him being scared and didn't notice until I uploaded it that I caught a blue butterfly flying by right at picture time. Too funny. It looks like he has wings.

What a fun day!

Oh Jacob. What a cutie.

You got some great pictures. I remember my grandparents taking Steven and TJ there when it first opened, but I don't think I've ever been there. Looks cool!
